Since living in Detroit briefly in 1998, I've loved the city and have toyed with the idea of moving back. I just visited over spring break to check it out as a possible writing hide-out, to visit my old friend Mike who recently moved back, and to conduct research, of sorts, for the novel I am working on that starts there.

I still love the place. I plan on posting some pictures and rambling soon, but until then, some of the Detroit stuff I geek out on:
